About Nicola's Work

about.jpg

Nicola’s work relies on a good strong simple ‘bones’, softened with planting, bringing colour, texture and life to a space and blurring the boundaries between garden and landscape.

Nicola has worked in the design world for more than 30 years and returned to fill time education in 1998 to gain her qualifications in garden and landscape design. She then went on to work for Dan Pearson for three years, and during that time travelled and worked on projects in Japan, Egypt and Italy as well as many others closer to home. Nicola set up her own garden and landscape and design business in 2003 and her first garden at The Chelsea Flower Show for Laurent Perrier achieved a Gold medal.

In addition to projects in the UK, Nicola is currently working on larger and more long-term projects in Tuscany and Jersey.

As well as working directly with clients, Nicola also collaborates with architects and interior designers to achieve schemes that reflect and complement their designs.
