| Nicola Lesbirel's garden and landscape designs take their inspiration from the site and it's surroundings. Whether it is in an urban or rural position, an understanding of the architecture and it's setting will ensure that the design is in harmony with the surroundings.
The designs rely upon a good strong 'bone structure' that is then overlaid with abundant naturalistic planting, softening the hard landscaping and bringing colour and life to the garden.
Nicola Lesbirel has worked in the design world for more than 20 years. She began her career as a buyer and product designer for the Conran Shop before returning to full time education to gain her qualifications in garden and landscape design. She then went on to work for Dan Pearson for three years before setting up her own garden and landscape design business.
Her first garden at The Chelsea Flower Show in 2004 achieved a Gold medal. |
