This is a very atmospheric garden attached to a pretty C19th cottage in Gloucestershire.

Here we are making the most of the local dry stone walling materials and skills to repair existing walls and to create the new 'bones' of the garden.

Privacy will be maintained with tall hornbeam hedges around the parking and working areas and generous areas of mixed perennial planting frame views of the old Walnut tree. Paths cut through this planting taking you to the drive and working areas at the back of the garden.

The walls, hedging and perennial planting all serve to create small 'snoozing' niches whilst leaving a generous lawn area under the walnut tree for larger picnics and parties.
